Powderpuff is a yearly tradition that’s held during Homecoming season that gender-swaps football, allowing for female athleticism in flag football.. The games took place at the football field, and to begin the night, the Freshmen played the Seniors at 6:30.
The seniors, never winning a game before, decided to go all out and use every ounce of determination to avenge the last three years of their continuous losses… and it worked! They, marginally, beat the Freshmen with a score of 22-12.
The next game posed the Juniors against the Sophomores, which ended with an even closer margin of score of 22-21. After two years of being runner-up to the class of 2025, the juniors knew they needed to step up their game, trying their absolute hardest to beat the sophomores. Although at the beginning, the sophomores had a lead on them, the juniors managed to recover with three minutes in the game, score a two-point conversion on them after their touchdown, and beat them by one point.
Finally, the Seniors faced the Juniors in the championship game. The game was close, and the seniors were still basking in their glory from the first game that they had won. Although it wasn’t the most unexpected win, the seniors put up the strongest fight they had ever had. They were almost beating the juniors, until the juniors stepped it up one more time and scored the touchdown that helped them ride to victory.
