The annual Little Buffalo Apple Festival took place on October 18 and 19 from 11:30 to 2:00, offering plenty of fun activities for the entire family.
For the kids, there was handmade butter making, wood arts such as bird house making and boat making, which the kids could test on the Little Buffalo Creek, basket-weaving demos, and for the younger kids, there was storytelling in the butterfly garden.
This fest didn’t only prioritize the children, though. Volunteers made homemade apple butter and there were also food trucks – The Big Cheese, Gio’s Smokin’ Grill, and Tom’s Coffee. Additionally, many vendors were in attendance, selling a wide variety of novelties. For the more mature audiences, alcohol vendors such as Woodlands Whisky offered specialty drinks.
All in all, the apple festival is a free, fun annual event for the entire family to enjoy.
